about Us

The Foundation's mission is to Inspire and Empower a new generation of leaders through educational supports, capacity-building, and innovation.

We strive to empower young leaders by working with our partners and supporters through awareness, education, empowerment, and recreational programs.

The foundation is Incorporated in the State of New York, USA as a non-profit/charitable organization and has an International presence in Liberia, West Africa.

The Foundation sees its beneficiary communities as partners, where individuals, groups, and institutions live in harmony with respect for the rule of law, human dignity, and in economic prosperity.

It is this this mission that drives our program interventions at the community-based level with a focus on education, poverty reduction, micro-enterprise, empowerment, and youth leadership skills development.

Our core value statement vows that "Transparency, Excellence, and Leadership” are the bedrocks upon which we are built and People are the core of our vision.

OUR STORY

The world needs hope and inspiration. We have set out on a mission to Inspire and empower a new generation of leaders.

We have to become the change we desire by leading by example and providing the roadmap to empowering young people. With your support, we can continue to strengthen our communities and transform lives in the process.

More than three decades ago in the mid 1990s, our Founder was uprooted from his home in Monrovia, Liberia. A brutal civil war had been waged and an entire country was being destroyed by warring factions. After being forced into exile, where he spent a decade, he was fortunate to get a life-long mentor in Mr. James Fritz Foster, former Country Director of Plan International.

Upon visiting the USA, he would later apply for a student visa and was blessed to receive an international student scholarship to study in New York, USA between 2004 - 2011. He has since gone on to do a lot more for youths in his community in “Little Liberia” on Staten Island, and giving back to his native Liberia. The foundation continues the work he has started more than a decade ago – giving back – and “inspiring a new generation.”

Today, there is a growing need to create opportunities in local communities that have been impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic and ongoing skills gaps amongst the youth population. And in order to bridge the gap between the middle class and those struggling to climb the economic ladder, there is a pressing need to address professional training for job readiness, while supporting the most vulnerable.

Why we are we unique?

We are unique because of our community-based approach to empowerment that promotes  working directly with beneficiaries to identify programs and by our passion to transform lives.

We also bring empowerment to young leaders by working with them through a mentorship program, sporting and cultural events, and by providing them with educational supports.
