Web Developer, Volunteer opportunity

The Aghailas Foundation is seeking a volunteer Web Developer who will be responsible to update and support an existing website for the foundation.

​

The Tamba Aghailas Foundation’s mission is to Inspire and Empower a new generation of leaders through educational supports, capacity-building, and innovation.

 

We strive to empower young leaders by working with our partners and supporters through awareness, education, empowerment, and recreational programs.

​

The volunteer will have experience as a web developer with design experience and will also work with the Executive Director to design, build and maintain the architecture of a highly functional and interactive website. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to build a portfolio and expand their knowledgebase.

​

Requirements

• 1 - 3 experience in web design/development and in maintaining the architecture of an interactive website.

• Experience with cloud-based web design systems including WIX, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Write/edit marketing collateral including advertising, direct mail, social assets and banner ads, as well as media kits.

• Ability to write one to two-page documents and news updates.

• Ability to interact with users’ inquiries and be an excellent communicator.

• For international applicants, English proficiency (spoken and written) is required.
